Las Vegas City School is participating in a Free Breakfast and Lunch program for the current school year 2025-2026. This alternative is referred to as the Community Eligibility Provision. All students enrolled at the following school(s) may participate in the School Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program at no charge. Household applications are not required to receive free meals, but applications may be distributed by the school to collect household income data for other programs that require this information.

We are excited to celebrate Homecoming 2026! Below is the schedule of events for the rest of the week, along with important instructional details regarding student attendance for Friday.
Thursday, September 10th
•Pep Rally: Starts at 6:30 PM ("Let's bring the noise!")
•Bonfire: Immediately following the Pep Rally at 8:00 PM
Friday, September 11th
Please note: Friday, September 11th, is a full workday for all staff and employees. Student instruction will be split into a synchronous morning session and an asynchronous afternoon session.
•7:30 AM – 12:00 PM | Synchronous Instruction (Live)
-Students must log in via their school-issued device to a live Google Meet session with their teacher. Chromebooks and schedules will be sent home by each school site.
-Attendance will be taken.
-Pre-K Students & Staff: Pre-K students and staff will report on campus for instruction during this time.
•12:00 PM – 12:45 PM | Lunch
•12:45 PM – 3:45 PM | Asynchronous Instruction & Planning
-Students will work independently on asynchronous assignments for the remainder of the day.
-Homecoming Parade: Begins at 2:00 PM
-Homecoming Football Game (Kickoff): 7:00 PM — Come cheer on the Cardinals as they take on the Bengals!

•Homecoming Dance: 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM
